Barbara Crampton, born on December 27, 1958, began her acting career with a role on the daytime drama 'Days of Our Lives' in 1983. She made her film debut in Brian De Palma's thriller 'Body Double' (1984). Raised Catholic in Vermont, Crampton spent summers traveling with a carnival due to her father's work as a carny. After starting her acting career, she became known for horror films such as 'Re-Animator' (1985), 'Chopping Mall' and 'From Beyond' (both 1986), 'Castle Freak' (1995), 'You're Next' (2011), 'We Are Still Here' (2015), and 'Little Sister' (2016).

On the first night of a new security system at Park Plaza 2000 Shopping Center, three malfunctioning robots are programmed to kill anyone found inside after midnight. Eight young employees, including Ferdy Meisel and Alison Parks on a blind date, plan an after-hours party in the home furnishings store but find themselves trapped with the deadly machines until morning. As they try to survive the night, they must use their surroundings, including various mall merchandise, to outsmart the seemingly indestructible robots.
