After Emmanuelle's death in a car accident, her lover Jean has lost all interest in life and sex. However, things start to change when he meets a mysterious woman named Anouchka at a jazz club who bears an uncanny resemblance to his late lover. Intrigued by this similarity, Jean begins an affair with Anouchka, finding solace and sexual liberation in their encounters. As they grow closer, Anouchka reveals that she is the illegitimate daughter of Emmanuelle's estranged sister, making her technically Emmanuelle's niece. Despite this revelation, Jean continues his relationship with Anouchka until he learns that she is planning to leave him for another man.
