In Pedro Almodóvar's 'Carne Trémula' (1997), pizza delivery man Victor falls for Elena, a woman he meets while delivering a pie. However, their initial encounter turns chaotic when one of two responding cops, David, accidentally shoots his partner Sancho due to Elena's reckless behavior under the influence of drugs. Four years later, David is now a wheelchair-bound basketball star married to Elena, who has no memory of Victor. Released from prison for a crime he didn't commit, Victor seeks revenge against Elena and David while trying to win Elena's heart again.
