After Jason Voorhees was chained at the bottom of Camp Crystal Lake by Tommy Jarvis, a young telekinetic girl named Tina Shepherd accidentally kills her father with her powers while vacationing near the camp. Years later, Tina and her mother return to Crystal Lake. Tina's psychiatrist tries to manipulate her psychic abilities for his own gain. During an attempt to resurrect her father using her powers, Tina inadvertently awakens Jason instead. Now, it's up to Tina to use her telekinetic abilities to stop both Jason and her manipulative doctor.
