Jessica Alba was born on April 28, 1981, and began her acting career at age 13 with roles in 'Camp Nowhere' (1994) and 'The Secret World of Alex Mack'. She gained prominence at age 19 as the lead actress in the TV series 'Dark Angel', for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. Alba's film breakthrough came with 'Honey' (2003). She has since appeared in numerous films, including 'Fantastic Four', and frequently collaborates with director Robert Rodriguez ('Sin City', 'Machete'). In 2011, she co-founded The Honest Company.

In 'Fantastic Four' (2005), four astronauts – Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm – are exposed to cosmic radiation during a test flight aboard their privately funded spacecraft. The experience grants them extraordinary abilities: Reed can stretch his body like elastic, becoming Mr. Fantastic; Sue turns invisible, becoming the Invisible Woman; Johnny bursts into flames, becoming the Human Torch; and Ben's body transforms into rock-like material, making him the Thing. Meanwhile, their sponsor Victor Von Doom also absorbs cosmic energy on a distant planet, returning to Earth as the powerful and vengeful Dr. Doom. The Fantastic Four must now use their newfound powers to protect themselves and the world from Doom's dangerous plans.
