Elizabeth "Betsy" Russell, born September 6, 1963 in San Diego, California, is an American actress of Jewish descent through her father and maternal grandfather Max Lerner. She desired to be an actress from age eight, acting in school plays and appearing in a Pepsi commercial while in high school. After graduating from Mission Bay High School in 1981, she moved to Los Angeles for acting classes and roles on TV series like T. J. Hooker, Family Ties, and The Powers of Matthew Star. Russell's breakout role came as Jordan Leigh-Jensen in the 1983 film Private School. She starred in several B movies including Tomboy (1985) and Cheerleader Camp. Russell resides in Malibu, California. In her career, she declined a role in Silverado but found success playing Jill Tuck in the Saw series from 2006 to 2010.

ストーリー
After graduating from high school, eight friends take a seaplane trip intending to celebrate on Keith's parents' private island. However, due to stormy weather, their plane crashes, and they find themselves stranded on a deserted island. They discover evidence of other visitors and soon realize that the island is being used by drug smugglers. The group must then fight for survival while trying to avoid detection from the dangerous criminals.
