After her divorce from Gregorini, she moved to Los Angeles, appearing in films like 'Up the Academy' (1980) and 'The Unseen' (1980). She married Ringo Starr in 1981. By the late 1980s, Bach retired from acting, earning a Master's degree in psychology from UCLA and focusing on charity work.

In 'Force 10 from Navarone', Mallory and Miller return to action after learning that a presumed traitor from their previous mission at Navarone was actually a German spy who escaped and joined the Partisans in Yugoslavia.
