Following his uncle's sudden death, Arthur Kriticos inherits his estate - a grand but isolated glass house. When Arthur moves in with his children Kathy and Bobby, along with their Nanny Maggie and attorney Benjamin Messenger, they discover that the house is actually a prison for twelve vengeful ghosts, trapped by Arthur's greedy uncle Cyrus. The house contains an intricate machine designed to harness the supernatural power of the ghosts to open the 'Eye of Hell'. Trapped inside, the group encounters Dennis, a ghost hunter, and Kalina Oretova, who believes the ghosts deserve freedom.
