Selena Steele, born January 17, 1961 in Los Angeles, California, grew up in Orange County. She studied ballet and gymnastics for twelve years, attended college for two years, and worked as a computer programmer before starting her career in adult entertainment at age 27 in 1988. Steele took a brief hiatus in the mid-1990s but returned to perform MILF roles in hardcore movies in 2001 while continuing to work as an exotic dancer. She was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2003 and the AVN Hall of Fame in 2007 before retiring from the industry in 2008.

Chameleon is a comedic action TV movie based on Anton Chekhov's short story of the same name.
