In 'Astérix et Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre', directed by Alain Chabat, the story unfolds in Ancient Egypt during the reign of Cleopatra. Caesar is determined to build a pyramid taller than the one built by his rival, Numerobis. He tasks his chief architect, Numerobis, with this task, but Numerobis sabotages Caesar's efforts as he fears losing his job if a taller pyramid is built. Meanwhile, Cleopatra hires Astérix and Obélix to steal the magic potion from their village druid, Panoramix, which grants extraordinary strength when consumed. Cleopatra plans to use this potion to help her lover, the struggling architect Hermès, build the tallest pyramid and thereby prove Caesar's architectural incompetence. However, Numerobis also learns about the potion and sends his assistant, Ahura-Zaïzaï, disguised as a Gaulish warrior, to steal it first. Astérix and Obélix foil Ahura-Zaïzaï's plans and bring the potion back to Hermès, who uses it to complete the pyramid successfully. The film ends with Caesar's army marching towards Egypt to confront Cleopatra, but they are delayed by a series of mishaps caused by Astérix and Obélix.
