Elisabeth Judson Shue, born October 6, 1963, is an American actress known for her roles in 'The Karate Kid' (1984), 'Adventures in Babysitting' (1987), 'Cocktail' (1988), and 'Back to the Future Part II & III' (1989-1990). She won acclaim for her performance as Sera, a prostitute who takes in an alcoholic screenwriter played by Nicolas Cage, in 'Leaving Las Vegas' (1995). Shue has received numerous award nominations throughout her career.

When an institution for people with disabilities closes down, Molly McKay, a carefree 28-year-old autistic woman, moves in with her brother Buck, a successful bachelor. Despite being initially overwhelmed by his sister's energetic and childlike behavior, Buck grows fond of Molly, who brings chaos but also joy into his ordered life. When an experimental medical procedure to cure autism becomes available, Molly eagerly volunteers, much to Buck's concern about the risks involved.
