Diane Colleen Lane, born January 22, 1965 in New York City, started her acting career at age 14 with 'A Little Romance' (1979), receiving praise from Laurence Olivier who compared her to Grace Kelly. Despite promising starts, films like 'Streets of Fire' and 'The Cotton Club' did not launch her career as expected. After a hiatus, Lane returned with roles in 'The Big Town' and 'Lady Beware'. She gained wider recognition for her role in the TV miniseries 'Lonesome Dove' (1989). Her notable performances include 'A Walk on the Moon' (1999), 'The Perfect Storm' (2000), and 'Unfaithful' (2002), which earned her critical acclaim and award nominations. Lane has appeared in four films directed by Francis Ford Coppola and played Martha Kent in 'Man of Steel' (2013) and subsequent DC Extended Universe films. Her latest film is 'Let Him Go' (2020).

ストーリー
In 1957, J.C. Cullen leaves his small town for Chicago to pursue a career as a professional gambler, using his talent at craps. He meets George Cole, owner of the Gem Club, and breaks the bank at one of his private games. Cullen falls in love with two women, one of whom is Cole's wife. Despite warnings to stay away from both Coles, Cullen ignores them. In retaliation, Cole bets everything, including the Gem Club, on a final craps game against Cullen.
