Lina Romay, born in Barcelona in 1954, studied arts after graduating from high school and married actor Ramon Ardid. She began acting in stage productions and later appeared in over a hundred films directed by Jesús Franco, many of them horror movies like 'The Bare Breasted Countess' and 'Jack the Ripper'. Although credited as co-director in some films, it was likely for business reasons as claimed by Antonio Mayans. Romay lived with Franco for nearly four decades before officially marrying him in 2008. She died from cancer in Málaga, Spain at age 57 in 2012.

Alice Brooks, a Spanish real estate agent vacationing in the Canary Islands with her French lover and writer, begins experiencing vivid SM dreams involving a mysterious black woman and her two slaves.
