Amrita Acharia, of Ukrainian and Nepalese descent, was born in Nepal but raised in Kathmandu, Ukraine, England, and Tromsø, Norway. She speaks multiple languages including Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Norwegian. After graduating from high school in Norway at 19, she moved to England to pursue acting. Acharia played Irri, a Dothraki handmaiden, in the first two seasons of Game of Thrones but was written out despite surviving longer in the books. ストーリー
Based on Leonie Frieda's book 'Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France,' the series follows Catherine de Medici's life as she enters the French court at a young age. Initially viewed as an immigrant, common, and plain, Catherine marries King Henry II expecting to bring a fortune in dowry and produce many heirs. However, she discovers her husband is in love with an older woman, her dowry is unpaid, and she struggles with infertility. Despite these challenges, Catherine uses her intelligence and determination to maintain her marriage and navigate the treacherous politics of the monarchy, ultimately ruling France for over five decades.
