Cate Blanchett, born Catherine Elise Blanchett on May 14, 1969 in Melbourne, Australia, is an acclaimed actress and producer. She began her acting career on stage after graduating from NIDA, gaining international recognition for her role as Elizabeth I in 'Elizabeth' (1998). Known for her versatile performances, she has won two Academy Awards ('The Aviator', 'Blue Jasmine') and been nominated seven times. Notable films include 'Lord of the Rings', 'Thor: Ragnarok', and 'Ocean's 8'.
