Maite Perroni Beorlegui, born on March 9, 1983, is a Mexican actress and singer who gained international fame after starring in the youth telenovela 'Rebelde' in 2004, which launched her into RBD, a pop-rock band. She has since starred in numerous television series, earning the title 'The New Queen of Telenovelas' by Univision in 2009 and winning Best Actress at Premios TVyNovelas in 2016 for her role in 'Antes muerta que Lichita'.
