In 'Hightown', Jackie Quiñones, a National Marine Fisheries Service agent with a penchant for partying hard on iconic Cape Cod, discovers a body washed up on the beach. Stricken by this grim reminder of the region's opioid epidemic, Jackie decides to sober up. However, her newfound resolve is tested when she becomes convinced that she must solve the murder herself. This puts her at odds with Sergeant Ray Abruzzo, an experienced member of the Cape Cod Interagency Narcotics Unit who initially dismisses her involvement. As Jackie digs deeper into the investigation, both she and Ray find themselves spiraling out of control, their personal demons threatening to consume them.
