Jona Xiao, born May 18, 1989, is an American actress originally from Changsha, China. She moved to New York as an infant and later settled in St. Louis, Missouri. Xiao started acting in middle school and founded Career ACTivate, a company helping actors advance their careers. Known for her role in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' (2017), she was initially advocated by Marisa Tomei despite the character not being written for an Asian-American actress. Xiao also voiced Namaari in 'Raya and the Last Dragon' (2021).

In 'Hightown', Jackie Quiñones, a National Marine Fisheries Service agent with a penchant for partying hard on iconic Cape Cod, discovers a body washed up on the beach. Stricken by this grim reminder of the region's opioid epidemic, Jackie decides to sober up. However, her newfound resolve is tested when she becomes convinced that she must solve the murder herself. This puts her at odds with Sergeant Ray Abruzzo, an experienced member of the Cape Cod Interagency Narcotics Unit who initially dismisses her involvement. As Jackie digs deeper into the investigation, both she and Ray find themselves spiraling out of control, their personal demons threatening to consume them. The lives of those connected to the murder begin to intersect in complex ways, highlighting the deadly nature of addiction.
