Shira Haas, born on May 11, 1995, is an Israeli actress who rose to international prominence in 2020 with her role as Esty Shapiro in the Netflix miniseries 'Unorthodox', for which she received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. Prior to this, she gained national recognition in Israel, winning two Ophir Awards out of five nominations since 2014. Haas also won the Tribeca Film Festival Award for Best International Actress for her role in the Israeli drama film 'Asia' (2020). She recently starred in another Netflix series, 'Bodies', in 2023.
