Jennifer Collene Rubin (born April 3, 1962) is an American actress and model who gained prominence as a Ford International Model of the Year in 1984. She was notably the original model for Calvin Klein's Obsession ads. After transitioning into acting in 1987, Rubin's big break came with her role as Taryn in 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'. She went on to star in films like 'Bad Dreams' (1988) and 'Screamers' (1995), including TV movies. Rubin also made guest appearances on various TV shows such as The Twilight Zone, Miami Vice, Tales from the Crypt, and The Outer Limits. Her most notable role was in the made-for-TV horror film 'Wasp Woman' (1995) where she played Janice, a woman who becomes a giant wasp due to an enzyme extracted from queen wasps.

In the year 2078 on Sirius 6B, a distant mining planet devastated by war, scientists create the Screamers - self-replicating, blade-wielding killing machines designed to eliminate enemy life forms. Over time, these autonomous weapons evolve and begin hunting all life, including humans. Colonel Hendricksson (Peter Weller), commanding the remaining Alliance soldiers, decides to negotiate a separate peace with the New Economic Bloc's decimated forces despite being betrayed by his own political leaders. To reach them, he must navigate a treacherous wasteland where the Screamers pose the deadliest threat.
