Peter, a young filmmaker from Wisconsin, uses his camera to transform the ordinariness of his hometown into art, distancing himself from his family and environment. Vera, the daughter of a prominent local businessman, joins him on a documentary project, aiming to become the star of both his cinematic and romantic universes.
