Funda Eryigit, born and raised in Turkey, began her acting career after graduating from Istanbul University's State Conservatory Theater Department and International Relations department. She won the Best Actress Award in the Musical/Comedy category at the 18th Sadri Alisik Theater and Cinema Player Awards for her role in 'Silence' during the 2012-2013 season, and was nominated for the 17th Afife Theater Awards. She gained recognition through her roles in various TV series such as 'Poyraz Karayel' and 'Canim Ailem', but she is most known for playing Esra in 'Gecenin Kralicesi'. Tereddüt follows Sehnaz, a young female psychiatrist from Istanbul who is posted for compulsory duty in a nearby provincial town. While maintaining her seemingly perfect marriage with Cem in Istanbul on weekends, she feels something amiss in her personal life. During the week, she works at the local hospital where she meets Elmas, a troubled young woman on the brink of mental instability. Sehnaz forms a deep connection with Elmas as she helps her regain balance. Meanwhile, Sehnaz's own life begins to unravel as she confronts her marriage's underlying issues.
