Marija Škaričić began her acting career in 2004 with a leading role in 'Ta divna splitska noć'. She won the 'Heart of Sarajevo' award for her performance as an heroin addict. She gained further recognition for her roles in 'Što je muškarac bez brkova' (2005) and 'Gospođica' (2006), winning another 'Heart of Sarajevo'. Škaričić has acted in numerous films, including 'Shahada' (2010), for which she won awards at the Pula Film Festival and the International Festival of Audiovisual Programs. She also starred in the TV series 'Bumerang' and 'Operacija Kajman'. In 2018, Škaričić played one of the lead roles in the mini-series 'Grudi', based on a true story about three friends facing challenges while helping one of them deal with breast cancer.

ストーリー
Grudi (Breasts) is a four-episode mini-series about three friends—Jelena, Ana, and Zorka—who reunite three days before their 20-year high school reunion. Ana, now living abroad and diagnosed with breast cancer, needs money for her operation. Jelena, a local teacher married to a foreigner, and Zorka, a wealthy businessman's wife struggling with infertility, join forces with Fuki, their charming but troubled male friend who has stayed in their hometown, to help Ana. Over the course of three days, they grapple with personal challenges and old feelings for each other while trying to raise funds for Ana's surgery.

Grudi (Breasts) is a drama mini-series inspired by true events that was awarded the best project at RTCG contest in 2017. Set around a high school reunion, it explores the lives of three friends dealing with breast cancer, body image issues, infertility, and family dynamics. The series uses breasts as a metaphor for their struggles and challenges them to find courage, strength, and nobility within themselves.
