Sara Lindsey was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland. She is the youngest of four children, with both parents being physicians. Showing an early interest in performing arts, she began acting in elementary school, eventually performing in professional theaters. Additionally, Sara was musically inclined, playing instruments and singing, notably serving as principal oboist for the Peabody Preparatory Sinfonietta and a member of Maryland All State Choir for six consecutive years. Throughout high school, she continued acting and went on to study drama at Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with a BFA in 2011. After booking her first film role in 'Super 8', Sara moved to Los Angeles.
