She has been nominated for a record sixteen César Awards, winning two, and received six Lumières Award nominations, winning four. Huppert's notable film roles include 'The Lacemaker' (1978) which earned her the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer, 'Violette Nozière' (1978) and 'The Piano Teacher' (2001), both of which won her Best Actress awards at the Cannes Film Festival. She has appeared in international films such as 'Heaven's Gate' (1980), 'Bedroom Window' (1987), and 'Elle' (2016), for which she received a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. Story

Terry Lambert (Steve Guttenberg), a businessman, has an affair with his boss' wife Sylvia (Isabella Rossellini). One night, while they are together in Terry's apartment, Sylvia witnesses an attack on Denise (Cathy Moriarty) from the bedroom window.
