The Wolf of Wall Street follows Jordan Belfort, a New York stockbroker who is determined to make it big in the financial world despite his humble beginnings. After landing an entry-level job at a brokerage firm, he quickly learns the ropes and becomes a successful stock trader. However, Belfort's greed and ambition lead him down a path of corruption as he starts his own brokerage firm with his partner Donnie Azoff, using manipulated stock prices to cheat clients out of millions. Belfort's lavish lifestyle and criminal activities attract the attention of the FBI, led by agent Patrick Denham, who becomes determined to bring him down. As Belfort's empire grows larger, so does the web of deceit surrounding it, leading to a series of betrayals and ultimately, his downfall.
