Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, born on October 16, 1965 in Hjørring, Denmark, is a prominent Danish actress known for her extensive work in film, television, and theater. She gained widespread recognition for her roles in the TV series 'TAXA' (1997-1999) and 'Forbrydelsen' ('The Killing') (2007). Jørgensen has also garnered critical acclaim for her film performances, notably winning a Robert Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'Italian for Beginners' (2000) and the audience award at the Bordeaux International Festival of Women in Cinema for 'In Your Hands' (2004). The series 'Herrens veje' follows the lives of several young individuals living in Copenhagen.
