Michelle J. Krusiec, born October 2, 1974 in Taiwan and raised partly in California, is an American actress of Taiwanese descent. She rose to prominence as one of six globe-trotting travel reporters on the Discovery Channel's hit series Travelers. Krusiec's acting career includes notable roles such as Molly O'Brien in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Wil, a Chinese-American lesbian surgeon, in Saving Face (2004), for which she was nominated Best Actress at the Golden Horse Film Festival. ストーリー
Wil, a Chinese-American lesbian surgeon living in Manhattan, has been secretly dating Vivian Shing, the daughter of her boss at the hospital. Wil's traditionalist mother, Ma, who was previously banished from Flushing, Queens for getting pregnant out of wedlock, unexpectedly arrives at Wil's apartment. Ma's presence disrupts Wil's personal life and causes tension between them due to their differing views on love and relationships. To please her grandfather and prove that she is not a lesbian, Wil tries to find a Chinese bachelor for Ma to marry. Meanwhile, Wil continues her secret relationship with Vivian.
