Erika Marozsán, born on August 3, 1972, is a Hungarian actress with mixed Hungarian-Armenian heritage. Her maternal grandmother was Jewish. She debuted in the Hungarian film 'Béketárgyalás' in 1989 and has since appeared in numerous films, including 'Sniper 2', 'Gloomy Sunday', and 'One Day Crossing'. Marozsán graduated from Budapest Academy of Drama and Film in 1995 and became a member of Új Színház. Her favorite actresses are Sophie Marceau and Famke Janssen.

Story

In Budapest during the thirties, restaurant owner László hires pianist András to perform in his establishment. Both men become enamored with the beautiful waitress Ilona who inspires András to compose his only song, 'Gloomy Sunday.' The melody becomes popular but takes a dark turn when it begins to trigger suicides among those who hear it.
