Farrah Fawcett, born Farrah Leni Fawcett on February 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas, was an American actress who rose to fame as Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels (1976–1977). Before her iconic role, she appeared in various TV shows like Harry O and The Six Million Dollar Man. Known for her red swimsuit poster, Fawcett earned multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations throughout her career, including nods for her performances in The Burning Bed (1984), Small Sacrifices (1989), Spin City (2001), and The Guardian (2002–2003). She also received praise for her role in the film The Apostle (1997). Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and passed away on June 25, 2009 at age 62.

Dr. T and the Women is a comedic drama centered around Dr. T. Griffith (Richard Gere), a Dallas gynecologist with a successful practice but a turbulent personal life.
