Anne Louise Hassing, born to Folmer Hassing Nielsen and Linnea Rasmussen, graduated from Statens Teaterskole in 1997. She won a Robert and Bodil for her debut film role in 'The Pain of Love' (1992), followed by another Bodil for 'Idiots'. Notable works include 'Klinkevals', 'Juliane', 'Strisser på Samsø', and 'De pokkers parents'. She starred as Ida in the drama series 'Krøniken' from 2004 to 2007, winning Female TV Actress of the Year three times. She is a Buddhist affiliated with Soka Gakkai and married to musician Peter Hellemann.

Trine Michelsen was born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1956. She was married to Giacomo, a lawyer, with whom she lived along with his sick mother. Trine struggled with infertility and felt abandoned by her husband.
