She resided in Södermalm, Stockholm, and completed her acting education at NAMA in Gothenburg, graduating in 1982. Following her graduation, she worked with prominent theater companies like Götateatern and the Borås City Theatre.

ストーリー
In small-town Sweden during the 1950s, young Ingemar lives with his single mother who is terminally ill and his distant older brother. Narrated through Ingemar's almost unconscious sense of irony, this slice-of-life story follows him as he navigates his challenging family situation. Twice, Ingemar is sent to live with relatives in a supportive village where he experiences adventures and forms bonds with intriguing characters.
