In an alternate dystopian 1999, cars run on human blood as fuel due to a worldwide energy crisis. A former cop named Arthur Bailey is coerced into participating in 'The Blood Drive', a deadly cross-country race hosted by the tyrannical King Valentine. Alongside his new partner Grace, who has been forced into the race for her own reasons, Arthur navigates treacherous terrains and faces-off against ruthless competitors while trying to evade Valentine's forces.
