Amy Schumer was born and raised on Long Island, New York, graduating from South Side High School in 1999. She earned a theater degree from Towson University in 2003 and moved to New York City afterwards, studying at the William Esper Studio. Through her father, she is related to Chuck Schumer, U.S. Senator from New York. Schumer began her stand-up comedy career in June 2004 at Gotham Comedy Club and later placed fourth on the fifth season of 'Last Comic Standing'. She portrayed a young woman with breast cancer in the off-Broadway play 'Keeping Abreast'.

ストーリー
After her boyfriend dumps her and she loses her job, Emily Middleton convinces her cautious mother, Linda, to join her on a non-refundable vacation to Ecuador.
