Malin Kristina Buska, born and raised in Övertorneå, Sweden, studied acting at Teaterhögskolan in Malmö from 2004 to 2007 after attending Lule Stassteater. She made her film debut in 'Happy End' (2011), also starring in 'Snabba Cash III'. In 2015, she played the lead role in 'The Girl King', a biographical drama about Christina, Queen of Sweden. Buska received the Rising Star award at the Stockholm Film Festival in 2011 and was named Best Dressed Woman of the Year at the Elle-gala in 2015.
