Karen Russell was born in Nashville, Tennessee and gained recognition for her roles in low-budget exploitation films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. She began her career with 'Tenement' (1987) as Chula, a gang moll, and later appeared in 'Vice Academy' (1989), playing Shawnee. In 'Murder Weapon' (1989), she played Amy, the troubled Mafia princess. After retiring from acting in the mid-1990s, Russell moved to North Hollywood, California where she became a yoga teacher and founded Yoga Groove.

Two daughters of mobsters are released from a sanitarium after supposedly killing one of their boyfriends in the shower. Upon their release, they invite all their former boyfriends to a party under the pretense of rekindling old romances. However, the ex-boyfriends start disappearing mysteriously one by one.
