Dianne Doan, born on September 8, 1990 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actress of Vietnamese descent. She developed an interest in acting during her ninth grade drama classes and began technical dance training at the age of ten. Before becoming an actress, she worked as a dancer for various performances, including the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony and music videos for Big Time Rush and Marianas Trench. Doan's first major acting role was Lonnie in the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Descendants'. She has also had recurring roles on television series like 'Vikings' and 'Guidance'. Notably, she joined the cast of Cinemax series 'Warrior' as Mai Ling in 2017. Currently, Doan is filming for the upcoming television series 'The Boys Presents: Varsity', where she will play the role of Nyla.

Vikings follows the exploits of the legendary Viking chieftain Ragnar Lothbrok and his crew as they explore and raid throughout Europe during the early medieval period. The series begins with Ragnar, a farmer turned Viking warrior, leading raids on English monasteries to gain wealth and glory.
