In 'Dyden går amok', directed by Sven Methling and released in 1966, a small fishing village is turned upside down when men and women from Copenhagen arrive for a wild, erotic escapade. The city slickers bring their big-city ways and appetites to the quiet coastal community, sparking chaos and comedic misunderstandings with the locals. The film is a wild, raucous comedy of errors as these urban interlopers clash with the villagers, leading to a series of hilarious, sexually charged encounters.
'Dyden går amok' (1966) is a Danish comedy film directed by Sven Methling, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Knud Poulsen. Set in a small fishing village, the film is an erotic farce that unfolds when residents from Copenhagen descend upon the peaceful community. This comedic clash of city and country life is a characteristic example of Danish sex comedy films of the 1960s, often referred to as 'Danish blue' films due to their relaxed approach to sexuality.
