Michel, a middle-aged graphic design company manager with an obsession for planes, impulsively decides to embark on a waterborne expedition after seeing a photograph of kayaks that remind him of wingless planes. Despite having no experience in rowing, Michel orders all necessary equipment online and sets off alone, encouraged by his wife Rachelle. Along the way, he encounters a series of unexpected surprises and characters, including Laetitia, the owner of a riverside bar, her eccentric employees, and a young waitress named Mila.
