Johanna ter Steege is a Dutch stage and screen actress known for her award-winning debut role in 'The Vanishing' (1988), earning her the European Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has since appeared in notable films such as Robert Altman's 'Vincent & Theo', István Szabó's 'Meeting Venus' and 'Sweet Emma, Dear Böbe', Bernard Rose's 'Immortal Beloved', and Bruce Beresford's 'Paradise Road'.
