In the 1920s, the German-speaking Fuhrmann family vacationed annually in Italy, where mysteries and intrigue were always brewing. During one such holiday, their children were captivated by a mysterious magician who had taken residence in town. As the children became increasingly entranced by his illusions, they began to see the world through his eyes, blurring the line between reality and magic.
