ストーリー
Des and Terri Tunkley are a happily married couple living in a caravan park by the sea with their young son Jack. Terri becomes entranced by a TV advertisement promoting home ownership and persuades Des to take out a loan for a house, despite his reluctance and love for his motorboat. They buy a new house on the city's fringe but soon face problems: terrible neighbors, long working hours to meet repayments, and their dream house turns out to be faulty. Struggles mount until Des loses his license and they're served an eviction notice, threatening their marriage. However, Des builds a magnificent backyard barbecue to prove Terri wrong about his incomplete projects. Just as friends admire it, the shady developer arrives with prospective buyers, receiving a hostile reception from Terri. The couple eventually decides to leave suburban life just in time to see their house collapse into ruins. Soon after, they embark on an endless holiday with their new caravan.
