Diane Kruger, born on July 15, 1976, gained worldwide recognition early in her career as an actress of German and American nationality. She is known for various film roles such as Helen in 'Troy' (2004), Dr. Abigail Chase in 'National Treasure' (2004) and its sequel, Bridget von Hammersmark in 'Inglourious Basterds' (2009), Gina in 'Unknown' (2011), and Detective Sonya Cross in the TV series 'The Bridge' (2013–14). Kruger made her German-language debut in 'In the Fade' (2017), for which she won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress.
