In 'Timecop' (1994), directed by Peter Hyams and written by Mark Verheiden and Mike Richardson, time travel has been harnessed for law enforcement. Max Walker (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is recruited into the Time Enforcement Commission (TEC). Ten years later, still mourning but dedicated to his duty, Max learns that McComb sent a colleague into the past to assassinate a powerful man and change the course of history.
