María Adánez is a Spanish actress who starred in the romantic comedy 'Cha-cha-chá' (1998). The movie revolves around her character, Maria, a dance teacher whose boyfriend is wooed away by her best friend Lucia after a night of heavy drinking. ストーリー

In 'Cha-cha-chá', a Spanish romantic comedy directed by Antonio del Real, career-driven ad-agency girl Lucia (Maribel Verdú) and her best friend Maria (Nieve de Medina), a dance teacher, are the central figures. Maria's boyfriend Pablo (Juan Diego Botto) is a sexist jerk, leading Lucia to drunkenly sleep with him one night out of spite. In an attempt to keep Pablo for herself, Lucia devises a plan: she'll find a new man for Maria, thus eliminating her rival. She chooses Antonio (Santiago Segura), an unemployed actor who's handsome but lacks intelligence. Lucia then takes on the role of Eliza Doolittle, educating Antonio in Pygmalion-like sessions to make him a suitable match for Maria.
