Susana Zabaleta Ramos, born in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, moved to Mexico City in 1985. She began her career as a singer and actress in stage musicals like 'El violinista en el tejado' (1987) and 'Don Quijote de la Mancha'. In 1993, she started acting in telenovelas. Her film debut was in 'Sobrenatural' (1996), directed by her husband Daniel Gruener. Zabaleta gained critical acclaim for her role in 'Sexo, pudor y lagrimas' (1998), earning a Silver Ariel Award as Best Actress. She has also released albums with Armando Manzanero and hosted her own TV show 'Susana Adicción' in 2011.
