Martine Brochard, born in Paris in 1944, began her acting career with a minor role in François Truffaut's 'Baisers volés' (1968). She moved to Italy in 1970 and became known for roles in genre films like poliziotteschi, commedia sexy all'italiana, and giallo films. From the mid-1970s, she regularly appeared in Italian TV series and theater productions. Brochard also authored two collections of children's stories: 'La gallina blu e altri racconti' (1995) and 'Zaffiretto il vampiretto e altri racconti' (1999). In 2003, she was diagnosed with leukemia but successfully recovered.

Il solco di pescia (1975) is a drama-comedy film directed by Maurizio Liverani. The story revolves around a young boy named Giuseppe who lives in a small fishing village.
