Law student Thijs lives in a house where each room serves as a base for casual encounters, believing relationships are unnecessary. When his childhood friend Ben announces he's getting married to an heiress and is moving out, making way for Susan, Ben's future sister-in-law, who arrives with her handsome boyfriend Stef, Thijs recalls his dream of opening a restaurant but lacks the necessary funds. Ben introduces Thijs as the master of ceremonies for the extravagant wedding, reducing its budget to €150,000, which he hopes will persuade his future in-laws to loan him money for his restaurant venture.
