Lee You-young, born on December 8, 1989, is a South Korean actress renowned for her performances in films. She debuted in 'Late Spring' (2014), earning her the first-ever Best Actress award at the Milan International Film Festival and numerous other Best New Actress awards. Following this success, she starred in more films and made her TV debut in 'Tunnel' (2017). Lee was previously in a relationship with Kim Joo-hyuk until his tragic passing in 2017.

Late Spring follows Joo-goo, a renowned sculptor in 1960s Korea who is stricken with a debilitating disease that will gradually paralyze his body. He loses interest in art and spends his days aimlessly. His devoted wife, Jung-sook, attempts to reignite his passion by searching for a nude model to inspire him. During her search, she encounters Min-gyung.
