Katey Sagal, born Catherine Louise Sagal on January 19, 1954, is an American actress known for her versatile roles in television. She gained fame as Peggy Bundy in 'Married... with Children' (1987-1997). Post the sitcom's success, she voiced Leela in 'Futurama' and played Gemma Teller Morrow in 'Sons of Anarchy'. Sagal is also a talented singer-songwriter who has released several albums.

Set during the early years of King Edward I's reign in Wales, 'Bastard Executioner' follows Wilkin Brattle, a skilled but peaceful executioner from the king's army who returns home after being scarred by war. Upon his return, he discovers that his village has been ravaged by poverty and crime due to the cruelty and corruption of Lord Marlow's taxation regime. When Wilkin refuses to resume his role as an executioner, he becomes the target of Marlow's wrath. In response, Wilkin seeks vengeance alongside a group of unlikely allies, including a former executioner named Annora, who believes in using supernatural powers to fight injustice. Together, they aim to expose the corruption that plagues their village and bring about change.
